Grand Mesa Aviation

Grand Mesa Aviation is on Colorado's beautiful western slope, where the sun shines over 240 days per year! The few days the weather is bad, we can continue to fly at least part of the time. Our small airport is tucked up against the 10,000ft tall Grand Mesa covered in lakes and forests with great hiking, ATV trails, and fishing, and in the winter, great snowmobiling and skiing!
We are only about an hour's drive to the great San Juan Mountains to the south, including Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride. Telluride and Aspen are only a 35-minute flight away and is part of our training program. Below you can learn more about the programs we offer and meet the instructor. We have programs for everyone; beginners and experienced pilots. You can learn at your own speed at Grand Mesa. We offer accelerated courses as well as regular paced courses. We make your learning experience knowledge packed so you can tackle any obstacles in your flights. Lets get flying!
